George Laidlaw is a Business Development profession who works with industrial clients to facilitate the monetization of excess assets through direct purchase, private sale, and auction strategies. George is excited about joining the Resell CNC team to offer their services to industrial clients, financing professionals, turnaround advisors, and new machinery dealers.
George has used a life-long enthusiasm for sales and business development to establish important relationships across many industries. Most recently, George served as Vice-President of Business Development for Hilco Industrial. Over his 10+years at Hilco Industrial, George Laidlaw was instrumental in building the auction and asset monetization business from its infancy to an industry powerhouse. George is excited about the opportunity offered by Resell CNC to enable me to solve a wider range of client challenges.
George is a past board member of the Turnaround Management Association of West Michigan and is active in that organization in West Michigan and Detroit. He is also a member of the Machine Dealers National Association-Detroit/Toledo chapter and a member of the Association for Corporate Growth.
George holds a BA in Communication Arts and Sciences from Michigan State University.
