About Miyano

Miyano was founded in 1929 by Toshimori Miyano, and began manufacturing industrial precision files in Kameido, Tokyo. The company began by building Japan's first automatic cam operated lathe. By 1987, Miyano established its North American manufacturing plant and headquarters in Wood Dale, Illinois. In 2011 Miyano Machinery merged with Citizen Machining and the company's distribution expanded to Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.

Miyano’s product line includes CNC drilling and tapping machine, five-axis vertical spindle machining centers, screw machine types, CNC turn/mill machines, horizontal CNC turning centers and also twin spindle/twin turret turning centers. Miyano machines are very well known for their accuracy, durability, and rigidity.
