The CAMaster Cobra CR-510 is a heavy-duty 5' x 10' CNC router built on CAMaster's Cobra platform, a design known in sign, display, and woodworking shops for steady, dependable sheet processing. This 2017 Cobra CR-510 has a 60" x 120" table with a published 61" x 121" cutting area and 10" of gantry clearance, with room for full 4' x 8' and 5' x 10' sheets of plastics, acrylic, PVC, ACM and other composites, MDF, plywood, and other routable materials. It is equipped with the OptiScout Optical Registration System, which reads registration marks on digitally printed sheets so the router can contour-cut graphics and display components in line with the print. A 10 HP Vector vacuum pump provides sheet hold-down across the bed, a mister system supplies tool cooling and lubrication for plastics and non-ferrous work, and an automatic tool changer lets one program run multiple cutters without manual tool swaps. Motion is servo driven, and the router runs from a PC-based control station with an operator workstation. For sign and graphics companies, digital printers, POP and exhibit builders, plastics fabricators, cabinet shops, and CNC job shops, the CR-510 combines large-format capacity with print-to-cut registration in one machine.
Compared with CAMaster's 4' x 8' Cobra CR-408 and the lighter-duty Stinger series, the Cobra CR-510 steps up to a full 5' x 10' production format on a heavier frame. The added bed length and width let shops nest more parts per sheet and process oversize panels that a 4' x 8' table cannot hold, while the Cobra's heavier construction is designed for longer cutting runs than the hobby-to-light-industrial Stinger line. With OptiScout registration, vacuum hold-down, a mister system, and an automatic tool changer on board, the CR-510 is a complete print-to-cut and sheet-processing package rather than a bare router that still needs those systems added. For a shop moving up from a smaller CAMaster or an entry-level router, the CR-510 delivers more capacity, more rigidity, and more of the equipment a sheet-processing operation needs already on the machine.
