The 2017 Kitamura Mycenter HX300iG is a compact-class CNC horizontal machining center built for tight-tolerance, lights-out production on a 12" x 12" pallet envelope. It runs a 15,000 RPM CAT40 Big-Plus dual-contact spindle backed by a 30 HP motor, with tool changes at 1.3 seconds tool-to-tool and 2.5 seconds chip-to-chip, riding 18.1" x 20.1" x 22.0" X/Y/Z travels and a fully-indexable B-axis with 0.001-degree resolution. This particular unit is configured with the upgraded 100-tool ATC, an integrated Renishaw probing system, and 250 PSI through-spindle coolant - the build sheet you want for unattended-shift work on demanding alloys.

Compared to the prior-generation Kitamura Mycenter HX300iF (the i-Series HMC the iG line evolved from), the HX300iG moves to the modern Arumatik-Mi PC-based open-architecture control with 67-million-pulse encoder technology, adds Kitamura's ballscrew cooling for thermal-stable accuracy across long production runs, and refines the BIG-PLUS dual-contact spindle interface for higher rigidity at the 15K speed.
