2012 Mori Seiki NH-5000DCG/40 CNC Horizontal Machining Center

The 2012 Mori Seiki NH-5000DCG/40 is a production-class horizontal machining center built around a CAT 40, 14,000 RPM, 40 HP spindle with full 4th-axis continuous indexing on a 500mm twin-pallet system. Travels run 24.80 in X by 23.60 in Y by 26.40 in Z, the 60-tool carousel ATC supports unattended multi-fixture jobs, and the Mori Seiki F31iA CNC control with MAPPS operating system handles RS-232, USB, and dual network ports for full DNC and shop-floor integration.

Compared to the older Mori Seiki SH-500 horizontal it replaced, the NH-5000DCG steps spindle speed to 14,000 RPM, adopts the DCG (Driven at the Center of Gravity) box-way construction for tighter dynamic accuracy, and bundles Blum laser tool pickup, Renishaw probing, high-pressure thru-spindle coolant, chip blast, and a chip conveyor as factory-installed options. Twin 500mm pallets keep the spindle cutting while the operator loads the next fixture.
