2018 Matsuura H.Plus-405 PC12 CNC Horizontal Machining Center

The Matsuura H.Plus-405 is a high-precision CNC horizontal machining center built around Matsuura's direct-drive 4th-axis table and around-the-clock pallet automation. This 2018 example pairs 25.98 in. X, Y, and Z travels and a 500 x 500 mm pallet with a 20,000 RPM Big Plus CAT 40 spindle and a 320-tool magazine, all run by the Matsuura G-Tech 30iB control with Heidenhain glass-scale feedback on every axis. The standout is its PC12 tower pallet pool with 15 pallets and scheduling software, joined by Renishaw OMP400 spindle probing and NC-4 laser tool setting, 1000 PSI through-spindle coolant, and a full chip and coolant management package - a complete cell ready for unattended production.

Compared with the smaller H.Plus-300 in the same series, the H.Plus-405 steps up to a 500 x 500 mm pallet and a 700 mm diameter x 850 mm tall work envelope, giving it room for substantially larger and heavier parts while sharing the series' direct-drive 4th-axis table and FASTEMS-ready automation. Configured here with the 20,000 RPM Big Plus spindle, 320-tool magazine, and the PC12 tower pool, this unit is set up for higher throughput and longer untended runs than a base H.Plus-405.
