2024 DN Solutions NHP-5000 CNC Horizontal Machining Center

The DN Solutions NHP 5000 is a high-productivity twin-pallet horizontal machining center with a reputation for rigidity, accuracy, and unattended reliability that has made it a benchmark for high-volume aluminum and steel production. This near-new 2024 machine pairs two 500 x 500 mm pallets on a full 4th-axis (continuous) rotary index with X/Y/Z travels of 28.7 x 28.7 x 34.6 inches, a 15,000 RPM HSK63 spindle driven by a 40 HP motor, rapid traverse of 2,362 IPM on all axes, and a 120-tool arm-type automatic tool changer. It is configured for automation and equipped with 1,000 PSI high-pressure through-spindle coolant with chip blaster, a spindle chiller, an LNS chip conveyor, robot-ready hydraulic clamping, and a Fanuc 30i-B Plus control, handling workpieces up to 31.5 inches in diameter by 39.4 inches tall at 1,100 lb.

Compared with the earlier Doosan HP 5000 and HP 5100 horizontal machining centers that preceded the NHP series, the NHP 5000 is a meaningfully more productive machine, not just a newer model. The NHP redesign introduced a faster, higher-torque spindle and quicker 60 m/min rapids for shorter cycle times, a more rigid bed and rotary pallet system for tighter tolerances on heavy cuts, and a modern Fanuc 30i-B Plus control with expandable tool magazines up to 120 and beyond. Combined with factory automation readiness and twin-pallet continuous operation, the NHP 5000 delivers more finished parts per shift and far better unattended uptime than the previous HP-series machines it replaced.
