The Mazak FH-4800 is a horizontal machining center with a reputation for dependable, high-uptime production that has made it a staple in job shops and contract manufacturers running prismatic parts. This 2000 Mazak FH-4800 CNC horizontal machining center offers X / Y / Z travels of 22 x 24 x 22 inches and a two-pallet automatic pallet changer carrying 400 mm (15.75 x 15.75 inch) pallets, so one pallet can be loaded while the other is in the machining area. The CAT 40 taper spindle is rated for 12,000 RPM from a 30 HP spindle motor, and the 120-tool automatic tool changer is designed to hold the tooling for many part families at once, cutting setup changes between jobs.
