The Mazak Multiplex?6200Y, built in 2009, is a high-throughput twin-spindle CNC turning centre with symmetrical design. It features dual eight-inch Kitagawa B-208 hydraulic chucks (main and sub), a two-inch bar capacity, and supports up to a 47-inch distance between centers. X-axis travel is nine-and-a-half?inches, Y-axis ± two?inches, and Z-axis both heads at approximately seventeen?and-a-quarter?inches. The machine is equipped with two twelve-position turrets, live tooling capable of 4,500?rpm milling, full C-axis and Y-axis machining, and LNS Quick-Load Servo bar feeding, all controlled by the intuitive Mazatrol?640T CNC. High-pressure coolant at 213?psi, parts catcher and conveyor, plus overload detection and turret air blast, complete the robust package.
