The 1999 Mazak Multiplex?6200Y is an advanced multi-tasking turning centre offering dual spindle and dual turret configuration for simultaneous machining operations. It delivers a 12.5-inch maximum swing, 10.24-inch turning diameter, and a generous 46.85-inch distance between spindle faces—ideal for long bar or chuck work up to approximately 40 to 44 inches. Each spindle is powered by a 30-HP motor and operates at speeds up to 5,000 RPM with A2-6 spindle noses and 2.4-inch bar capacity, while 0.001° C-axis indexing allows live cross-drilling and interpolation. The inclusion of a Y-axis (±2 inches), live tooling turrets (12-station each, 5 HP/4,500 RPM), and LNS bar loader enables fully featured single-clamp machining operations across multiple axes.

Driven by the Mazatrol?Fusion?640T control, this turning centre supports EIA/ISO programming, tool-eye tool measurement, synchronous tapping, coordinate rotation, and user macro functions. The machine is equipped with a GL-100 or GL-150 gantry loader, chip and parts conveyor system, coolant-through milling head, and automatic parts removal, making it particularly effective for automated production environments.
