2013 Haas DS-30 CNC Turning Center

The 2013 Haas DS-30 is a rugged dual-spindle CNC turning center engineered for heavy-duty, high-volume production with full C-axis indexing and live tooling. This machine delivers twelve point five inch X-axis travel and twenty-six inch Z-axis travel, with a maximum swing over bed of thirty-one point seven five inches and maximum turning length of eighteen inches using an eight-inch chuck. The thirty-horsepower main spindle runs up to four-thousand RPM on A2-6 nose and handles up to a three-inch bar with a spindle bore around three point fifty inches. An opposing sub-spindle with twenty-five horsepower motor mirrors these capabilities via an A2-5 nose and full C-axis control.

Equipped for versatility, its twelve-station hybrid BOT/VDI turret supports live tooling at six-thousand RPM driven by a five-horsepower motor. Standard accessories include a bar feeder interface (often equipped with an IEMCA Master 880 MP feeder), parts catcher, chip conveyor, rigid tapping, coolant system, and color monitor with illuminated operating light. Haas’ intuitive control includes visual programming, spindle orientation, and user-definable macros.
