2017 Mazak QTU-250MY CNC Lathe

The 2017 Mazak QTU-250MY CNC Lathe is a high-efficiency, compact turning center designed for complex part geometries and multi-operation integration. It features Y-axis milling, C-axis interpolation, a 12-position drum turret, and a 4500 RPM live tooling spindle with 7.3 horsepower and 34.7 foot-pounds of torque. The main spindle delivers 20 horsepower with a top speed of 4500 RPM, equipped with an A2-6 nose and a 2.99 inch spindle bore. With an MT#5 programmable tailstock, 213 PSI high-pressure coolant, and Mazak’s Smooth software suite, this machine is tailored for tight-tolerance parts and simultaneous mill-turn operations.

Compared to basic turning centers, the QTU-250MY’s addition of a full C-axis, live tooling, and Y-axis travel provides far greater part complexity in a single setup.
