2014 Haas ST-20Y CNC Lathe

The Haas ST-20 from 2014 is a mid-size turning center built for high-rigidity performance and reliable accuracy. With a maximum swing of 23”, turning diameter of 10.3”, and center distance of 20”, it is well-suited for a wide range of small- to mid-sized part geometries. The A2-6 spindle nose is powered by a 20 HP vector drive motor reaching 4,000 RPM, while the 8.45” X-axis and 20” Z-axis travel ensure flexible tool paths. This machine includes a 12-station turret, a tailstock for shaft support, and a standard 8" Kitagawa hydraulic chuck with a 2” bar capacity, enabling both chuck and bar-fed work.

Despite being labeled as “ST-20Y”, this unit is not equipped with a Y-axis nor live tooling, functioning instead as a precise 2-axis turning center. It includes a tool presetter, chip conveyor, spindle liner kit, and high-intensity work lights, enhancing productivity, setup efficiency, and operator visibility.
