It features 8.4? X, 22.5? Z, ±2.0? Y travels, a 24-position BMT-65 turret with 6,000?RPM live tooling, spindle orientation, rigid tapping, tool presetter, chip conveyor, mist condenser, air-blast on both spindles, high-intensity lighting, parts catcher, Royal Roto Rack, and is controlled via Haas NextGen for highly flexible multi-axis operations.

Compared to the base ST-20 (no Y-axis or sub-spindle), the ST-20Y adds front/back live tooling, full Y-axis indexing, a powerful synchronized 6k sub-spindle for true done-in-one parts, and a 24-tool turret instead of 12. While the ST-20 excels at simple turning and drilling, the ST-20Y supports advanced milling, sub-spindle finishing, and lights-out production with its complete automation suite.
