2013 Doosan Puma 300C CNC Lathe

The Doosan Puma 300C, from 2013, is a heavy-duty CNC horizontal turning center engineered for demanding, high-volume part production. The machine boasts a maximum turning diameter of 14.8" and a maximum turning length of 27.6", making it ideal for medium-to-large shaft work and casing-type components.

It features a 3.5" spindle bore with a 10" hydraulic chuck, accommodating bar-fed stock for both production runs and job-shop flexibility. The spindle rotates at up to 3,500 RPM, driven by a 30 HP motor, providing high torque for steel, stainless, and tough alloys. Axis travels include X-axis: 10.2" and Z-axis: 29.9", delivering smooth tool movement across the bed for precision contouring and facing. The machine is equipped with a 12-station turret (non-live), and uses a Fanuc 0i-TD control, offering stable performance, macro capability, and operator-friendly interfaces.

A rigid one-piece slant-bed casting and box-way construction ensures vibration dampening and high durability, particularly under heavy load machining. The machine is cooled via a standard flood system, with chip conveyor and tailstock options commonly paired.
