2011 Doosan Lynx 300 CNC Lathe

The 2011 Doosan Lynx 300 is a premium CNC lathe engineered for demanding metal removal in both long-run production and heavy-part prototyping. With a maximum turning diameter of 14.8" and maximum turning length of 27.6", the machine easily handles flange parts, shafts, and bar-fed material up to 3.5" in diameter.

Equipped with a 10" hydraulic chuck mounted to an A2-8 spindle nose, this lathe features a 30 HP main spindle motor, delivering up to 3,500 RPM. The machine’s X-axis travel is 10.2", and Z-axis travel extends to 29.9", ensuring generous reach for stepped profiles and deep boring. The turret holds 12 fixed tool stations—suitable for external turning, boring, threading, and grooving operations. Constructed on a monoblock slant-bed casting with hardened box ways, the Puma 300 is engineered for rigidity, vibration damping, and long-term accuracy.

It is controlled by the Fanuc 0i-TD CNC system, supporting full parametric programming, macro capability, and custom M-codes. The machine typically includes flood coolant, chip conveyor, and options such as tailstock or tool setters depending on configuration.
