2004 Daewoo Puma 300C CNC Lathe

The Daewoo Puma 300C, built in 2004, is a precision CNC turning center optimized for rigidity, long-part machining, and dependable productivity. Outfitted with a 10" hydraulic chuck, the lathe supports bar-fed materials up to 3.5" in diameter and a maximum turning diameter of 14.8", with a maximum cutting length of 27.6".

The machine's X-axis travel is 11.2", and Z-axis travel reaches 26.8", making it ideal for shaft and casing work. The 30 HP main spindle, spinning up to 3,500 RPM, delivers torque and cutting force necessary for machining steels, alloys, and cast components. A 12-station turret provides bi-directional indexing for quick tool changes. This model also includes key upgrades: a programmable hydraulic tailstock (MT5) for automated support of long parts, a tool presetter for improved setup efficiency and repeatability, and a belt-style chip conveyor for enhanced chip evacuation during prolonged cycles.

Built on a rigid slant-bed platform with hardened box ways, the Puma 300C ensures vibration resistance and consistent thermal performance. The Fanuc 21i-T CNC control allows for precise control, macro programming, and built-in spindle orientation.
