2010 Doosan Lynx 220LC CNC Lathe

The Doosan Lynx 220LC, built in 2010, is the long-bed variant of the highly regarded Lynx 2100 series CNC turning centers. This compact yet rugged machine is ideal for mid-sized shaft and flange work, with a Z-axis travel of 31.3"—extended beyond the standard model for added reach and versatility.

It features a 12" hydraulic chuck, paired with a 3.0" bar capacity and A2-8 spindle nose, allowing for bar-fed production or chucking larger diameters with stability. The spindle runs up to 4,500 RPM, driven by a 30 HP high-torque motor, delivering both speed and torque for demanding cuts. Axis travels include X: 8.07" and Z: 31.3", serviced by a 12-station bi-directional turret. The machine is equipped with a Fanuc 0i-TD CNC control, supporting high-speed processing, rigid tapping, and conversational cycles via Doosan’s user interface enhancements.

Constructed with rigid box ways, the Lynx 220LC maintains excellent vibration dampening and cutting accuracy over extended production cycles. A chip conveyor, flood coolant system, and optional tailstock are standard inclusions for unattended operation.
