2004 Mazak QTN-350 CNC Turning Center

The 2004 Mazak Quick Turn Nexus 350 is a heavy-duty CNC turning center, tailored for machining large-diameter components and long workpieces. This machine features a maximum swing of 26.77", with machining diameters up to 16.5", and a cutting length of 60"—making it ideal for energy components, oilfield work, shafts, and aerospace cylinders. A spindle bore of 4.4" and 4" bar capacity enables substantial raw material throughput, driven by a high-torque 40 HP (30 HP continuous) main spindle motor. The spindle turns at up to 3,300 RPM, mounted on a rigid A2-11 nose, supporting large chucks and steady, concentric holding.

The 12-position drum turret delivers rapid tool indexing, supported by X-axis travel of 8.85" and a substantial Z-axis reach of 63.38", both with impressive rapid traverse rates of 1,181 IPM (X) and 984 IPM (Z). Equipped with a tailstock (MT#5) and steady rest, this lathe accommodates extra-long parts and provides additional support for deep turning operations.
