The 2018 Citizen Miyano BNA-42S2 is a compact twin-spindle Swiss-type turning center capable of machining bar stock up to forty-two millimetres in diameter and up to one hundred millimetres in length. Its primary spindle operates from sixty to six thousand RPM and supports a forty-three millimetre draw tube, while the secondary spindle runs from fifty to five thousand RPM with a thirty millimetre capacity. The machine is equipped with an eight-station turret (HD1) and up to eight live tools via a single clutch mechanism, delivering rotary tool speeds between fifty and five thousand RPM. Its rigid box-way structure includes a two hundred thirty-five millimetre Z1 axis and one hundred thirty-five millimetre X1 axis, supported by MIYANO-FANUC 0i-TD CNC with C-axis control and full interpolation.

Delivering rapid traverse rates of up to twenty metres per minute on X and Z axes, the BNA-42S2 is ideally suited for high-precision, short-cycle part production in the medical, aerospace, and automotive sectors.
