A 34-horsepower built-in motor brings each 6 000 RPM spindle to speed in 1.6 seconds, feeding two-inch bar straight through a 50.8-millimeter bore for lights-out bar-work. X strokes of 8.3 inch and Z strokes of 31.9 inch—backed by octagonal-ram rigidity—let the machine rough and finish long hydraulic rods without chatter, and the sixteen-station lower turret complements the twelve-station upper to mount thirty-plus driven tools at once. ERGOline’s multi-touch panel overlays CELOS graphics on full Fanuc logic, so operators switch from conversational patterns to G-code thread whirls in a swipe. An LNS chip conveyor, parts conveyor and high-volume coolant system clear blue curls before the next bar indexes.

Compared with the NZX 1500 800SY single-Y configuration (one Y-axis, eight-position lower turret, 20 horsepower spindle), this SY2 version adds Y travel on the lower turret, raises the lower turret to sixteen stations and boosts spindle power to 34 horsepower—yet both share identical cast beds and 6 000 RPM heads, so existing collets and macros port straight over while cycle time drops by half.
