2002 Takamaz XY-2000 CNC Lathe

The 2002 Takamaz XY-2000 is a robust dual-spindle, dual-turret CNC turning center engineered for complex, high-throughput machining. With dual 8-inch 3-jaw chucks and bar capacities of 2.5" (main) and approximately 1.65" (sub-spindle), both delivering up to 3500 RPM, it enables full workpiece transfer between spindles. The main turret offers 12 stations with 6 live tools and Y-axis milling capability, while the sub-turret adds 8 stations with 4 live tools—all under the control of the powerful Fanuc 18i-T.

Unlike standard lathes, the XY-2000 synchronizes its spindles and turrets for simultaneous machining, facilitating complete operation from raw bar to finished part in one machine.
