The 2022 Citizen L32-1M8 CNC Swiss Lathe is an advanced 8-axis Swiss turning center engineered for high-precision medical, aerospace, and automotive components. It supports a 1.26-inch bar capacity through its main spindle, delivering up to 8000 RPM with a 7.5-horsepower motor, while the sub-spindle matches this speed at 8000 RPM with 5-horsepower drive. Equipped with C-axis and Y-axis control, the machine provides full contouring and multi-face machining, supported by live tooling that rotates to 9000 RPM. Its versatile tool layout accommodates more than 30 tool positions, enabling simultaneous operations, reduced cycle times, and one-and-done production. Outfitted with an Edge C-320 bar feeder and mist collector, it offers automation-ready reliability and clean operation for continuous production shifts.

Compared with Citizen’s A20 models, the L32-1M8 increases bar capacity from 0.78 inch to 1.26 inch and introduces expanded Y-axis stroke and live-tool horsepower.
