The 2007 Mazak Slant Turn 50N CNC Lathe provides a 31.7-inch swing over bed, 22-inch swing over carriage, and a maximum cutting diameter of 28-inches with 80-inches between centers. Equipped with an 18-inch hydraulic chuck and a 7.1-inch spindle bore, it is driven by a 50-horsepower spindle motor at 750 RPM. Axis travels reach 22.6-inches in X and 80-inches in Z, with rapid traverse rates of 472 IPM in X and 551 IPM in Z. The Mazatrol 640T control adds productivity features such as Background Path Check, EIA/ISO compatibility, user macros, polar coordinate input, and helical interpolation, while a chip conveyor manages swarf removal.

Compared with smaller Quick Turn models or Nexus lathes, the Slant Turn 50N offers significantly greater capacity with its large 7.1-inch bore, long 80-inch centers, and robust 50-horsepower spindle.
