2007 Mazak Cybertech 4500M CNC Lathe

The 2007 Mazak Cybertech 4500M CNC Lathe is a large-frame multitasking turning center designed for oversized workpieces. It offers a maximum swing of 33.8-inches, 31.9-inch cutting diameter, and 80-inch cutting length. The main spindle features a massive 10.2-inch bore through an A1-15 nose, producing 40 continuous and 50-horsepower at 1600 RPM with torque output reaching 3320 foot-pounds. Travels include 21.25-inches in X and 80-inches in Z, with rapids of 945 IPM and 1181 IPM respectively. The 12-station bolt-on turret supports both turning and milling tools, indexing in 0.4 seconds, and the machine integrates live tooling for secondary operations.

Compared with Mazak’s standard Nexus or Quick Turn models, the Cybertech 4500M is built for much heavier cutting, offering far greater bore size, torque, and capacity. While smaller lathes require multiple setups or additional machines for large shafts or pipe work, the 4500M completes massive turning and live-tool milling in a single setup, increasing efficiency for industries such as oilfield, heavy equipment, and aerospace.
