2018 Mazak QTU-250M CNC Turning Center

The 2018 Mazak QTU-250M CNC Turning Center delivers precision and power in a compact frame with a 27.4-inch swing and 22.08-inch distance between centers. Driven by a 20-horsepower main spindle reaching 4500 RPM, it supports both turning and live milling through its 12-station turret and 7.5-horsepower live tool motor spinning at 4500 RPM. Equipped with a programmable tailstock, 10-inch Kitagawa hydraulic chuck, and automatic tool presetter, the QTU-250M is designed for accuracy, speed, and ease of use with the Mazatrol SmoothC CNC control.

Compared to earlier QTN-series lathes, the QTU-250M enhances rigidity and multi-function flexibility with its integrated C-axis and live tooling for contour milling. Its rapid traverse rates of 1181 IPM and full servo control across axes make it an efficient performer for general-purpose and high-precision production turning alike.
