The 2018 Haas ST-35Y CNC Turning Center combines heavy-duty turning performance with full Y-axis capability, delivering ±2 inch Y travel, 425 ft-lbf spindle torque, and up to 5100 lbf Z-axis thrust. Engineered for demanding turn-mill applications, this platform includes an automatic coolant refill system, enclosure exhaust, chip conveyor, internal transformer, and integrated tool presetter to support consistent, high-output production.

Compared to standard 2-axis lathes that limit milling flexibility and off-center machining, the ST-35Y provides true Y-axis interpolation, increased thrust capacity, and rigid torque delivery for aggressive cutting.
