2002 Weiler E90/3M Flat Bed CNC Oil Country Lathe

The 2002 Weiler E90/3M Flat Bed CNC Oil Country Lathe is a purpose-built heavy-duty turning center engineered for oilfield, shaft, and large industrial production, featuring 118 inches between centers, 35.4 inch swing over bed, and a 14 inch spindle bore capable of passing full-size oil country tubulars. Powered by a 60 HP spindle turning up to 1,100 RPM and fitted with (2) 24.5 inch 4-jaw chucks with 12 inch thru-hole, a 4-way Aloris-type tool holder, hydraulic 6 inch steady rest, tailstock, chip conveyor, and Siemens/Weiler CNC control, this machine runs heavy bar, tubing, and shaft parts across long cycles with German-built rigidity.

Compared to earlier Weiler flat bed lathes like the E70 and the D-series, the E90 line expanded swing, bore capacity, and between-centers length while upgrading to the Siemens-based CNC platform for smoother programmable control of long-part turning. The E90/3M variant adds stiffened bed construction and larger thru-bore capacity over the base E90, giving oil country shops the ability to turn larger tubing diameters at longer lengths than the previous generation of Weiler flat bed lathes.
