2011 Doosan Lynx 220A CNC Turning Center

The 2011 Doosan Lynx 220A is a compact, high-performance 2-axis CNC turning center built for shops that need reliable production turning in a small footprint. Equipped with a Fanuc control, this machine features a 12-station turret, 6-inch hydraulic 3-jaw chuck, and 1.75-inch bar capacity. It delivers 6,000 RPM spindle speed from a 20 HP spindle motor, with X-axis travel of 6.9 inches and Z-axis travel of 13 inches. High pressure coolant at 1,000 PSI comes standard on this unit, providing excellent chip evacuation and tool life in demanding cuts. The tailstock and max turning diameter of 12.6 inches give this lathe solid versatility for both bar work and chuck jobs.

The Lynx 220A improved on the original Lynx 220 with meaningful upgrades that matter on the shop floor. Doosan refined the headstock design for better rigidity and thermal stability during extended production runs, and updated the servo tuning for smoother surface finishes and tighter tolerance holding.
