The 2012 Mazak QTN 350-II/2000 is a heavy-duty CNC turning center built for large-diameter, long-shaft work. Equipped with a Mazatrol Matrix Nexus control, this machine delivers 40 HP through an A2-11 spindle nose with 3,300 RPM capability and a 4.4-inch spindle bore. It handles workpieces up to 26.77 inches in swing over the bed, 16.54 inches in maximum turning diameter, and 81.1 inches in cutting length. With 80 inches between centers, a programmable tailstock with #5 MT taper, and a 12-position turret, this lathe is configured for both heavy roughing and precision finishing on large-scale parts. Rapid traverse rates of 1,181 IPM on X and 984 IPM on Z keep non-cutting time to a minimum, while the programmable high-power coolant system at 59 PSI ensures consistent chip evacuation and tool life in demanding cuts.
