The 2020 Eurotech CMZ TA20YS is a high-performance Y-axis CNC turning center with synchronized twin spindles, designed for complete part machining in a single setup. Equipped with a Fanuc 32iTB control featuring a 15-inch touchscreen and iHMI interface, this machine runs a 15-position N-55 turret with both axial and radial driven toolholders capable of 12,000 RPM milling with 70-bar internal coolant delivery. The main and sub-spindles both feature Hainbuch Spanntop nova AXFIX 65 collet chucks for precision barwork, and the integrated Y-axis enables off-center drilling, milling, and contouring that would otherwise require secondary operations. High-pressure coolant pumps at 6 and 15 bar ensure effective chip evacuation and tool life in demanding aluminum applications, while the programmable parts catcher with conveyor and side-exit chip conveyor support unattended production.
