2021 Mazak QT-EZ10MY CNC Lathe

The 2021 Mazak QT-EZ10MY is a current-generation Quick Turn EZ-series lathe built around an A2-6 spindle nose, an 8 inch 3-jaw hydraulic chuck, 1.65 inch bar capacity, 4,500 RPM main spindle driven by a 15 HP motor, and a 12-station turret with live tooling rated to 5,000 RPM. Full C-axis indexing and a Y-axis with stroke at the turret push this machine well past plain ID/OD turning, opening up off-center milling, drilling, and tapping in a single setup. The tailstock supports longer shaft work, the chip conveyor and tool presetter keep production runs moving, and the Mazatrol SmoothEz control delivers fast program build and richer toolpath features than the legacy Mazatrol Matrix predecessors.

Compared to the prior-generation Mazak QT Nexus 100MY and the older Quick Turn 6T platform, this current QT-EZ10MY brings the Mazatrol SmoothEz control with a modern color touchscreen, faster servo response, smoother high-speed look-ahead for live tool work, and an integrated Y-axis travel range that the legacy QT Nexus did not match for tight off-center features. For shops producing short-to-medium bar parts, family tooling, and complex one-off prototypes, the QT-EZ10MY turns a single lathe footprint into a fully-capable turn-mill cell.
