2025 Haas DS-30Y CNC Turn-Mill Center

The 2025 Haas DS-30Y is a dual-spindle, Y-axis CNC turn-mill center built to finish complex parts complete in one setup, with a 13.75 inch maximum cutting diameter, 32.5 inch cutting length, and 3 inch bar capacity through an A2-6 main spindle. The 30 HP main spindle turns to 4,500 RPM and a 15 HP sub-spindle to 4,000 RPM, while a 24-station BMT65 turret carries live tooling to 6,000 RPM for milling, drilling, and Y-axis off-center work. Equipped with the Haas Next Generation Control and a Haas bar feeder, it is configured for done-in-one production straight off the bar with main-to-sub part transfer.

Compared to a single-spindle Haas ST-30 turning center, the DS-30Y adds a second fully programmable spindle plus Y-axis live tooling, turning a straight turning center into a complete multitasking platform. That lets a shop transfer a part to the sub-spindle and finish the back side, plus mill flats, drill cross-holes, and cut off-center features, without the second operation or separate machine the ST-series would require.
