2012 Mazak Quick Turn Smart 100S CNC Turning Center

The 2012 Mazak Quick Turn Smart 100S is a compact 2-axis CNC turning center built for small-part production, with a 6 inch chuck, 2 inch bar capacity, an 11 inch maximum turning diameter, and 12.15 inches of machining length. Its 15 HP spindle turns to 6,000 RPM under the conversational Mazatrol Smart control, and this machine comes equipped with a parts catcher, chip conveyor, tool presetter, and a Royal mist collector for clean, unattended bar work.

Compared to the larger Quick Turn Smart 200, the 100S trades capacity for a smaller footprint and quicker handling of small diameters, making it the right size for high-mix shafts, fittings, and bushings under 2 inches. For a shop adding turning capacity or a dedicated small-parts machine, the Mazatrol conversational control gets new operators making parts faster than a G-code-only lathe in the same class.
