2012 Doosan Puma 400LC CNC Lathe

The 2012 Doosan Puma 400LC is a heavy-duty big-bore CNC turning center built for long, large-diameter work. It features a 7.1 inch spindle bore with an A2-15 spindle nose, a 21 inch SMW Auto-Blok hydraulic chuck, 30.3 inch maximum swing, and an 84.8 inch Z-axis travel that supports turning lengths up to 81.7 inches. A 50 HP spindle turning to 1,500 RPM, a 12-station turret, tailstock with MT #5 center, full hydraulic steady rest, chip conveyor, and tool setter make it a complete, production-ready package for shafts, rolls, and oil-country parts.

Compared to the standard-bed Doosan Puma 400, the 400LC long-chucker configuration extends the Z-axis travel and turning length dramatically, here to nearly 85 inches, so a single machine can handle long shafts and large rolls that a short-bed lathe cannot. Paired with the big 7.1 inch through-bore and 21 inch chuck, the 400LC takes on larger bar and longer between-centers work while keeping the same rugged Doosan box-way construction.
