2023 Doosan Lynx 2600SY CNC Turn-Mill Center

The Doosan Lynx 2600SY is a 10-inch-class CNC turn-mill center with a reputation for rigidity and dependable, high-accuracy production in busy job shops. This 2023 machine combines turning with milling, drilling, and tapping in a single setup using a 3,500 RPM, 25 HP (18.5 kW) main spindle rated at 403 Nm of torque, a 4,500 RPM sub-spindle for synchronized part transfer and back-side finishing, and a 12-station live-tooling turret that drives rotary tools to 5,000 RPM. It offers X and Z travels of 9.8 x 26.8 inch, plus or minus 2.07 inch of Y-axis travel for off-center features, full C-axis contouring, a 10-inch chuck, and a 3-inch bar capacity through an 82 mm (3.2 inch) spindle bore, with an LNS bar feeder for continuous, hands-off production. A one-piece 30-degree slant-bed casting on roller-type linear guideways holds accuracy through aggressive cuts on parts up to 15 inch in diameter and 24 inch long.

Compared to the previous-generation Doosan Lynx 220 series it modernizes, the newly-designed Lynx 2600 platform is a clear step up rather than a refresh.
