2011 Okuma Genos-L400E CNC Lathe

The Okuma Genos L400E is the long-bed version of Okuma's Genos L400 2-axis CNC turning center, known for the rigidity, thermal stability, and control reliability that have made Okuma a trusted name in precision turning. This 2011 machine offers a 20.47 inch swing over the bed, 12.99 inch maximum turning diameter, and 43.31 inch maximum turning length, with X and Z travels of 9.25 and 45.04 inches. The A2-8 spindle has a 3.15 inch spindle bore and runs up to 3,000 RPM from a 20 HP motor, and rapid traverse of 787 ipm on both axes keeps positioning moves quick. A 12-station turret carries the tooling, a hydraulic 3-jaw chuck handles the workholding, and a tailstock supports long shafts and between-centers work. The machine runs the Okuma OSP-P200L-R control and is equipped with a tool presetter.
