This 2010 example is built around a large-capacity spindle fitted with a 12-inch hydraulic 3-jaw chuck and a big-bore configuration that accepts up to 4 inches of bar stock, making it equally at home on chucked parts and bar-fed production runs. With 60 inches between centers and an integrated tailstock, it handles long shaft work and between-centers turning that smaller lathes simply cannot take on.
