2022 QuickTech T8 Hybrid CNC Turn-Mill Center

The QuickTech T8 Hybrid is a 9-axis twin-spindle CNC turn-mill center built for complete, single-setup part production, with a reputation for packing full multitasking capability into a compact, rigid platform. This 2022 machine combines a main spindle (2.56 in / 65 mm bar capacity, 15 HP, 4,000 RPM, A2-6 nose) and a 7.5 HP sub-spindle (1.65 in / 42 mm bar, A2-5) with a 12-station BMT-55 all-live turret plus a separate B-axis gang slide carrying additional OD, ID, and live tools. Full C-axis on both spindles, Y-axis on both tool carriers, and dual B-axis milling enable turning, milling, drilling, and back-working in one cycle. It rides on a 75-degree Meehanite cast slant bed with 35 mm Hiwin roller linear guideways, holds positioning accuracy of +/-0.0002 in with +/-0.00015 in repeatability, rapids at 1,181 IPM, and is run by a Mitsubishi M830S control with a 15 in color touchscreen. High-pressure 400 PSI coolant, a chip conveyor, parts catcher and conveyor, and a bar-feeder interface are included.

Compared to running the same work across a conventional two-axis turning center plus a separate machining center, the T8 Hybrid collapses multiple operations and setups into a single done-in-one cycle - cutting handling, work-in-process, and cumulative tolerance stack-up while boosting throughput.
