2006 Citizen L20-VIII CNC Swiss Lathe

The Citizen Cincom L20-VIII is a sliding-headstock Swiss-type CNC lathe with a reputation for tight-tolerance, high-volume small-part production that has made the Cincom L20 line a staple in medical, aerospace-fastener, and precision screw-machine shops. This 2006 example handles up to 20 mm (0.79 in) bar diameter through a guide bushing and is equipped for production with gang live tooling, including two live tool holders, a three-position gang live-tool face-drilling setup, and a cross-drilling attachment, plus a high-pressure coolant system and an FMB automatic bar loader for continuous, unattended running. A two-place stationary gang holder is also included.

Compared with the earlier Citizen L20-VII, the Type VIII is a later-generation build of the same proven 20 mm Cincom platform, bringing refinements in tooling flexibility and control over the previous type while retaining the compact footprint and guide-bushing accuracy the L20 line is known for.
