The Nomura NN-20J3 is a Swiss-type CNC turning center from Nomura DS's J Series, a machine line with a reputation for repeatable precision that has made it a staple in medical, aerospace, and electronics production. This 2021 example is a fully equipped complete-machining package: a 20 mm bar capacity, a main and back spindle each running to 10,000 RPM, four axes on both the main and sub-spindle, and a .0001 degree C-axis standard on both spindles. It carries a Y-axis, live tooling, and a sub-spindle for done-in-one machining, driven by a Mitsubishi M80 Type A control with 30 tool stations, 30 m/min rapids, and 3.7 kW of main spindle power.
