Both upper and lower BMT55 turrets carry 12 stations and Y-axis travel with live milling capability — meaning this machine can finish a complete part with simultaneous OD/ID work, off-center milling, and back-end operations on the sub-spindle without operator intervention. Powered by 35 HP main and sub spindles spinning to 5,000 RPM with 10 HP live tooling at 5,000 RPM, 1,000 PSI through-spindle coolant, and Royal collet chucks, this Puma TT2100SYY is configured for true lights-out automation.

Compared to its predecessor, the Doosan Puma TT2100SY (single Y-axis on the lower turret only), the TT2100SYY adds a second Y-axis on the upper turret — meaningfully expanding the off-center milling envelope and enabling true twin-turret simultaneous machining on complex parts.
