2018 Doosan Lynx-2100LB CNC Lathe

The Doosan Lynx 2100LB is a big-bore, long-bed CNC turning center known for the rigidity and value that made the Lynx line a job-shop staple. This 2018 machine offers an 8 in chuck, a 2.625 in bar capacity, a 13.8 in max turning diameter, and a 21.6 in max turning length through an A2-6 spindle rated at 20 HP and 4,500 RPM, with a 2.99 in spindle bore for pulling larger stock. A 12-station turret and a hydraulic tailstock with an MT #4 live center let it move between chucked, bar-fed, and shaft work, and it runs a Fanuc control operators already know.

Compared with the earlier Doosan Lynx 220 series it replaced, the Lynx 2100LB is a meaningfully improved machine: Doosan increased spindle bore and bar capacity, stiffened the base and turret for heavier cuts and better finishes, and moved to a current-generation Fanuc control with faster processing and more memory.
