2011 Mazak Integrex-i-200S 5-Axis CNC Multi-Tasking Turn-Mill Center

The Mazak Integrex i-200S is a 5-axis multi-tasking turn-mill center with a reputation for done-in-one accuracy that has made it a staple in precision job shops and contract manufacturing environments. Built on Mazak's INTEGREX i-series platform, it combines a full turning center with a genuine machining center in one work envelope, handling a max turning diameter of 25.9 inches and a max machining length of 39.8 inches. The main spindle turns to 5,000 RPM through an 8-inch chuck with a 3-inch (2.99 in) bore and 2.6-inch bar capacity, backed by a 30 HP peak drive, while an opposed second turning spindle (W-axis) runs to 5,000 RPM with its own 8-inch chuck for complete backworking. The tilting B-axis milling spindle delivers 12,000 RPM and 30 HP through an HSK-63 taper with -30 to +210 degrees of B-axis travel, and full Y-axis and C-axis motion enables true 5-axis contouring and off-center work. Tooling is served by a 36-tool ATC, and the machine is equipped with Mazak Super Flow V8 high-pressure coolant (1000 PSI) and a chip conveyor, all managed by the MAZATROL Matrix control for conversational and EIA/ISO programming.

Compared with the earlier INTEGREX 200-III and 200-IV S machines it succeeded, the i-200S is a meaningfully better platform, not just a newer badge. The i-series redesign brought a more rigid, thermally stable machine base and a higher-output tilting milling spindle for heavier 5-axis cuts, along with the modern MAZATROL Matrix control that replaced the older Mazatrol 640 / Fusion generation with faster processing, larger program memory, and easier multi-tasking programming. Faster rapids, improved spindle and B-axis response, and refined chip and coolant management shorten cycle times and improve unattended reliability over the previous 200-series.
