The 2016 Mazak?Vortex?i-800V/8S 5-Axis CNC Vertical Machining Center excels at machining large, complex parts within a compact floor space. It features a 31.5" square pallet, supports workpieces up to 59" in both diameter and height, and performs full simultaneous 5-axis machining via a tilting spindle (B-axis) and rotating pallet (C-axis). Equipped with a 10000 RPM BT50 spindle, rapid traverses up to 2047 IPM, and expandable tool storage from 43 to 160 tools, it’s governed by Mazatrol SmoothX (or Smooth Ai) control and designed for high throughput.
