The 2006 Mazak Variaxis?500-5X is a precision-engineered five-axis vertical machining centre built for demanding complex part production. It delivers approximately twenty point zero eight inches of X-axis and Y-axis travel, and eighteen point one one inches of Z-axis travel, across a five-hundred-by-four-hundred-millimeter (nineteen-point-seven by fifteen-point-seven inches) trunnion table. The table tilts from -120 degrees to +30 degrees (A-axis) and rotates full 360 degrees (C-axis) with positional accuracy to 0.001°, enabling full simultaneous five-axis machining.
