The 2009 Robodrill a-T14iFa is a compact high-speed machining centre engineered for small to medium part work in industries like medical, electronics, and precision engineering. It features 19.68" X, 15.75" Y, and 12.99" Z axes on a rigid cast-iron frame and is driven by a 10,000?RPM BT-30 spindle powered by a 7.5?HP motor. The machine’s rapid traverse rates of 1,417?IPM on X and Y, and 1,181?IPM on Z, coupled with a 14-station drum-style automatic tool changer, delivers sub-second tool swaps and reduced cycle times. The Fanuc 31i-A5 CNC—with Nano smoothing—is intuitive and robust, supporting rigid tapping and high-precision contour control. Similar to the earlier a-T14iA, the Fa variant upgrades to higher torque, improved repeatability, and enhanced control performance.

Compared to standard 8,000 RPM Robodrill models, the Fa revision increases spindle speed to 10,000 RPM and pairs it with faster tool change performance and Fanuc Series 31 control—offering smoother cutting, smaller cycle time, and improved finish capabilities.
