The 2010 Makino V33 CNC Vertical Mill is purpose-built for the ultra-precision demands of high-end die/mold applications and fine detail component manufacturing. With X, Y, and Z-axis travels of approximately 25.6", 17.7", and 13.8" respectively, it offers tight working volumes suited for small, complex parts requiring extreme contour fidelity.

A table measuring 27.6" x 17.7", with a load capacity of 770 pounds, provides ample support for intricate fixturing and moderate-weight workpieces. The mill is fitted with an HSK63A spindle, delivering up to 20,000 RPM—ideal for high-speed finishing and micro-tool machining. The spindle is cooled via a dedicated chiller system, ensuring thermal stability during long cycle times. A 30-position automatic tool changer (ATC) enables multi-operation workflows with minimal interruption. For accuracy and automation, the unit is equipped with a Renishaw tool and part probing system, allowing in-process measurement and automated tool offset correction.

Coolant delivery is enhanced through a high-pressure through-spindle coolant (TSC) system, aiding chip evacuation during deep or narrow cavity work. The machine runs on the Makino Professional 5 CNC control, based on the Fanuc platform but heavily customized for high-speed, high-precision applications.
