The Haas VF-8/40 from 2019 is a large-frame vertical machining center with expansive travels and robust structural integrity—perfectly suited for precision machining of heavy and complex parts. It features X/Y/Z travels of 64" x 40" x 30" and a generous 64" x 36" table, capable of supporting up to 4,000 lbs of workpiece mass. Powered by a 30 HP vector spindle, this model reaches up to 15,000 RPM through a CAT 40 taper, enabling both aggressive roughing and high-speed finishing. A 50+1-position side-mount tool changer supports high-mix, high-volume production with minimal downtime.
