The 2019 Haas VF-4 CNC Vertical Mill is a high-performance machining center engineered for productivity across a wide range of applications. Its generous 50" × 20" × 25" axis travels allow for processing larger parts or multiple smaller setups in a single cycle. The CAT 40-taper spindle, capable of 8,100 RPM, is driven by a 30 HP vector motor (20 HP continuous), providing substantial torque for both roughing and finishing. A 24-station side-mount tool changer (SMTC) ensures rapid and reliable tool swaps, while rapid traverse rates of 1,400 IPM and cutting feedrates up to 833 IPM ensure efficient cycle times. The spindle’s range from 4" to 29" above the table provides flexibility for deep part machining and tall fixtures.

This unit is factory-equipped with WIPS (Wireless Intuitive Probing System), allowing for tool and work offset setting, in-process gauging, and part verification—all without manual input.
